Fans probably noticed a darker side to Carmella this past Tuesday on SmackDown.
In the video above, the former SmackDown Women's Champion revealed why she ditched her blonde locks for a darker look.
"This is my natural hair color. I wanted to go to my roots. Pun intended. I just wanted a change."
Carmella was first seen with darker hair over the weekend at a live event Tucson. Thus far, according to Carmella, the fan response has been good. When asked if she might go back to her blonde locks, Carmella stated, "For right now, I'm going to stay dark. I'm going to stay brunette. You never know what happens. But I think brunettes have more fun."
Carmella looked to be having fun on SmackDown, particuarly during the Truth TV opening segment, which featured random dance breaks.
They had less fun a couple of hours later on Mixed Match Challenge when they were defeated by The Miz and Asuka.
