Carmelo Hayes Recalls Freestyling With Jacob Fatu And Solo Sikoa On WWE Tour Bus

Carmelo Hayes recalls a hilarious moment with Jacob Fatu.

Hayes has been a part of the SmackDown roster for nearly two years at this point, primarily working with names like The Miz, LA Knight, and Andrade.

Behind the curtain, Hayes likes to hang out with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. On the latest episode of WWE Playback, the reigning United States Champion recalled a moment where Fatu pulled out his signature boogeyman motion in the middle of a freestyle session.

“Funny story, we were on a live event. We were on the bus going, it was Solo, myself, and Jacob [Fatu]. We’re all just rapping and Jacob popped us huge. We were freestyling and just playing around, but it popped us huge. It was early in [his run], Jacob goes, ‘I’m the boogeyman’ and we all popped huge. On TV now, the boogeyman [motion/dance] became a thing. Obviously, he gives credit to Boogeyman for sure.”

Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa are confirmed to take part in this year’s Royal Rumble match. Fans can check out the current participant list for that bout by clicking here.
