Carmelo Hayes To Host United States Title Open Challenge On 1/16 WWE SmackDown

OVO Arena Wembley in England is playing host to the January 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown as a part of WWE’s European tour.
A new addition to the show lineup has been made. The current WWE United States Champion, Carmelo Hayes, is set to host an open challenge. The news was announced via WWE’s official website.
Carmelo Hayes will continue the tradition that was reignited by Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov when he once again hosts a United States Title Open Challenge.

There are also going to be four different singles matches to set up a Fatal 4-Way bout. The winner of the four-way will go on to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Below are the number one contendership matches:
