Carmelo Hayes: I Will Be Delayed But I Will Never Be Denied

Carmelo Hayes continues to speak on his absence from WrestleMania 42.
A few weeks ago, Hayes being on the WrestleMania card looked like a sure thing, mainly due to the fact that he was in the midst of a killer reign with the United States Championship.
Barring a last minute change, Hayes will not be on the card. Instead, Sami Zayn will defend the United States Championship against Trick Williams in a singles match.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Hayes once again commented on the situation.
“I do feel bad for my fans, man. I don’t want y’all to feel bad for me because one way or another, I’m gonna get it, it doesn’t matter, you know what i mean? I’m too talented to get denied year after year. The last two years I didn’t make it on WrestleMania, but it won’t happen a third man. I’m just too freaking talented. I feel bad for my fans that have been rooting for me through the ups and downs, y’all seen me get it out the mud literally and get to the top with that US Title. It was great times. We gonna get it y’all. I will be delayed but I will never be denied.”
Hayes issued his first comment earlier this week, saying that WWE won’t know that he can score until he gets the ball. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
