Cast Revealed For Batista's "Guardians Of The Independent Scene"

Partial cast list for Batista's latest project revealed.

This past Monday on WWE Raw, Triple H and Batista engaged in a war of words that ended with both men getting what they want. Batista got his WrestleMania match against The Game and Triple H got the match on his terms, a No Holds Barred contest. During the promo, Triple H dropped a clever "Guardians of the Independent Scene" line, referencing the Indie wrestlers posing as "security guards" surrounding Batista.

Wrestling Inc reports that John Rodin, Chris LeRusso, Benjamin Boone, Victor Benjamin and László Árpád were co-stars alongside Batista in Pittsburgh. Rodin and LeRusso are Pennsylvania natives while Árpád has made appearances in CZW.

Batista's next film could star former professional wrestler Stephen Amell playing Batista's rival.

After learning about the match between Batista and Triple H, Amell took to social media and joked, "Really pumped for the match but also don’t want to see a celebrity angle detract from an awesome wrestling card.." Batista, missing the joke, responded by saying, "Considering that celebrity could actually fuck someone up, and that celebrity is a former 6x heavyweight champ, and that celebrity is there because he loves it, maybe it just adds to the card. Maybe."
