Cedric Alexander Delivers ‘Lumbar Check’ To Tasha Steelz; Mustafa Ali Def. Alexander At TNA Slammiversary

Steelz took the bullet for Ali.

Kicking off the in-ring action of TNA Slammiversary’s main card was a singles match between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali. Their history dates back to their time on WWE’s now-defunct 205 Live brand. Ali and Alexander were respectively known as the ‘heart’ and ‘soul’ of the brand.

The last time they wrestled in a singles match against one another was in 2018 for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 34.

In their 2025 bout, there was involvement from Ali’s Order 4 stable (Tasha Steelz, John Skyler & Jason Hotch). Steelz, who had been ejected from ringside, made her way back to the ring to assist Ali. She ended up taking a ‘Lumbar Check’ from Alexander.

When Alexander was about to get up on his feet, Ali immediately hit him with a 450 splash, which secured him a three-count.
