Cedric Alexander comes to NXT.
Cedric Alexander officially joined the NXT roster on the July 9th episode of NXT. Cedric came out of a meeting with NXT GM Ava, arranged by Stevie Turner, and was officially welcomed to the brand.
Moments after Cendric joined the roster, Ashante "Thee" Adonis appeared on the show to take a meeting with Ava.

Cedric and Ashante were teaming in dark matches as part of WWE SmackDown tapings. Vignettes aired for the team, but they never debuted together on television.
