Celebrity Big Brother Recap - Week 2: Eva Marie Gets Her Game On

It was a crazy week in the Celebrity Big Brother house. But before we get into this week, here's a look at who is still in the house:

In The House

Xia Brookside vs. Ash By Elegance Set For 4/25 TNA iMPACT!

Kato Kaelin (Witness in OJ Simpson trial)
Ricky Williams (former NFL running back)
Lolo Jones (Olympic Track Star)
Joey Lawrence (Actor, Star of "Blossom")
Dina Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s mom)
Tamar Braxton (Singer)
Tom Green (Comedian/Actor/Singer)
Kandi Burruss (Singer/Songwriter)
Natalie Eva Marie (former WWE Superstar)
Ryan Lochte (12-Time Olympic Medal Swimmer)

Evicted

Anthony Scaramucci (Former White House Director of Communications)
Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels in "Mean Girls")

Remember, these recaps are Eva Marie-centric because you're only here for All Purple Everything.

It was a quiet first week for Eva, which wasn't a bad thing. She formed a final two with Lolo Jones and an alliance with Ryan, Tamar, and Kandi. She didn't get to compete in the first week, which helped slip her further under the radar.

This week, the Head of Household competition basically boiled down to who could hold their hands over their head the longest. They were on a sometimes tilted platform and different liquids and items were shot at them, but it all came down to how long your arms could last as you held on to giant rocks.

"I've been in sold out arenas with The Rock. And now I'm in a sold out arena with a bunch of rocks." - Eva Marie.

Eva made it down to the final two before cutting a deal with Kato, who promised her safety. These kinds of deals happen all the time on Big Brother and serve a couple of purposes. First, as long as the other person holds up their end of the bargain, you remain safe for the week. Second, it gets no blood on your hands. Winning Head of Household means putting up two people for eviction, which means at least one person might be coming for you later in the game. By giving up the chance to be Head of Household, Eva continues to play the middle a bit. It's a good strategy to have early in the game.

And by lasting until the final two, Eva showed that she has the physical prowess to make an impact in this game. Overall, a strong showing from Eva in her first competition. She's a threat in the competitions and she seems to understand the game fairly well.

Kato nominates Tamar and Dina.

Kato and Tom now want to work with Lolo and Eva. Lolo and Eva agree. If you're keeping track, Eva now has a loose alliance with Ryan, Tamar, Kandi, Kato and Tom to go along with her final two with Lolo. She's in a very good position when it comes to numbers.

Tom wins Power of Veto and decides to take Dina off the block so Kato can backdoor Lochte. Tom and Kato have a final two and are threatened by Lochte and Joey. Eva votes for Lochte, who gets evicted on a 6-1 vote. Lochte looked to be in a great position after week one and now he's gone. I told you things change fast in the house. Even though Eva had an alliance with Lochte, she knew the votes weren't going to go his way. Voting with the house keeps your name out of the spotlight. Joey was the only person who didn't vote for Lochte and everyone knows it. And they won't forget it.

Tom, Kato, Eva and Lolo invite Ricky to join their alliance. He agrees but doesn't seem all that excited about it. They want to name their alliance Team Fun and Ricky doesn't like it. This makes Tom not trust Ricky. Maybe just come up with a better name?

Tamar wins Power of Publicist, which is fan voting that will keep her off the block should she decide to use the power. Her fanbase must be strong because she's caused drama and hasn't played a great game. Come on WWE Universe. Be better.

Tom wins the next Head of Household and puts Kandi and Joey on the block. He thinks one of them have the Power of Publicist but is wrong. Tom now wants to backdoor Ricky because he thinks he could have the power as well. Ricky tries to tell him it's Tamar. Tom is playing a paranoid game and it'll probably cost him pretty soon.

Eva wins Power of Veto and here is where things pick up.

Tom wants to backdoor Ricky and thinks Eva should use the Power of Veto so he can do it. He believes since they are in an alliance, it'll be a foregone conclusion that she'll use it. She does not use it. Eva tries to say that his directions are not clear. Tom and Kato aren't buying this, effectively ending their alliance.

This is not only where Tom's paranoid game costs him, it's where Eva strengthens her ties to Ricky and shows that she believes he's a stronger ally than Tom and Kato. Ricky, who we find out as a fairly strong alliance with Lolo, now has more trust in Eva. And Eva still has a loose alliance with Tamar and Kandi.

Tom and Kato not only played paranoid, they played too strong to start. They wanted to run the house by pulling off back-to-back backdoors and that backfired. Now they have big targets on their back.

Eva votes to evict Joey, who is out by a 6-0 vote. Here's how the house stands:

In The House

Kato Kaelin (Witness in OJ Simpson trial)
Ricky Williams (former NFL running back)
Lolo Jones (Olympic Track Star)
Dina Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s mom)
Tamar Braxton (Singer)
Tom Green (Comedian/Actor/Singer)
Kandi Burruss (Singer/Songwriter)
Natalie Eva Marie (former WWE Superstar)

Joey Lawrence (Actor, Star of "Blossom")
Ryan Lochte (12-Time Olympic Medal Swimmer)

I've got to say, I'm loving Eva's game through two weeks. She might be stretching herself thin by making alliances with so many people but it's obvious that her loyalty lies with Lolo and I think the final four with Tamar and Kandi is a bit stronger than shown on television. And now she has Ricky as a strong ally.

The numbers are still on her side. Tom and Kato are out to get her but she's in a good position because Tom can't play the next Head of Household and as long as Kato doesn't win, I would assume that one of Tom or Kato will be on the block. Unless Dina wins. Her loyalty hasn't been shown as of yet.

Eva also had some good showings in competitions this week, which does put a bit of a target on her. By I get the impression that everyone will target Lolo over Eva.

There are only two weeks left since Celebrity Big Brother moves fast. Right now, Eva is in a very good position to make it to the final week.
