Cesaro Discusses 'Running Wild' Hot Tag In 2016, Says People Have Tried To Replicate It

During a triple threat tag team match on the December 12, 2016 episode of WWE Raw, Cesaro pulled off what some consider the greatest hot tag/comeback of all-time.

Starting with a clothesline on Karl Anderson in the ring, Cesaro made his way around the ringside area, taking out Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Luke Gallows before ending with a top rope crossbody on Anderson.

Speaking on New Day: Feel The Power, Cesaro discussed the famous hot tag and how he managed to pull it off.

"Some of that, if not half of it, was on the fly. I knew I was going to do the seat to E, then I look up, see Kofi, and we make eye contact for a split second. He knows what's going to happen next. Our chemistry and how many times we've wrestled, it's an unspoken bond that we can just do stuff. Half that stuff was just because the puzzle pieces were in place. I didn't call all of it, it just happened. And it was something special. I also feel, I kind of screwed everybody up because a lot of people tried to replicate it and it's not the same. The beauty of it was, so much of it happened organically. It was one of those perfect things in time. It worked that time, it wouldn't work every time," he said.

All three members of New Day were very complimentary of Cesaro and his talent in the ring during the podcast.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Cesaro discussed murdering a beach ball. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
