Cesaro Hopes The Bar Can Reunite Down The Line

Cesaro discusses how he found out he was being split from Sheamus.

During the initial Superstar Shake-Up last month, neither Cesaro nor Sheamus were moved from SmackDown to Raw. However, Cesaro was moved to Raw the week after, unofficially signifying the end of The Bar. The duo had been together since September 2016 after a best-of-seven series ended in a tie and they were put together by Raw General Manager Mick Foley.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Cesaro discussed how he found out The Bar would be splitting.

"See, I was traded after the Superstar Shakeup. So, I actually thought that The Bar may not have been broken up, you know? You never know! Then, all of a sudden I get a message like ?Hey, your travel changed,? and I?m like ?Ah, OK yeah, guess I?m a Raw guy now!? With the brand split, it was a clean split and we can always go back to it."

Cesaro & Sheamus were four-time Raw Tag Team Champions and one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions during their time together. Sheamus is currently sidelined with a concussion and has not wrestled since the Apr. 9 episode of SmackDown. While there were rumors that Sheamus would be retiring, Cesaro, alongside Rusev, shut down those rumors. You can view their comments by clicking here
