Cesaro Told Vince McMahon Directly His Response To The 'Brass Ring' Comment, SummerSlam Beach Ball Incident

When the boss says something you don't like, you gotta let him know face to face.

Cesaro recently spoke to All Things Wrestling Radio about Vince McMahon's 'brass ring' comments. When he first heard of Vince McMahon's comments in an interview with Steve Austin on the WWE Network talking about how he wasn't able to connect with fans, Cesaro felt that he needed to let McMahon know what he thought of his comments personally.

"I was actually listening to it on the drive to the next city…I was not very happy about it to say the least because I couldn't disagree more," Cesaro said. "The next day I walked into his office and said 'challenge accepted.' That's how I deal with things – head on…I'd like to say I've been doing pretty good so far."

He also talked about the incident at SummerSlam where he grabbed a beach ball the fans were throwing in the crowd and destroyed it. He found it ironic that for all the comments from people about how he was underrated, they were doing that during one of his matches.

"It's Summerslam…arguably the second biggest pay-per-view of the year," he said. "Myself and Sheamus are out there against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins for the [Raw] Tag Team Championships. We poured our hearts into this match and I look out and see some schmucks playing with a beach ball. So I decided to put an end to that because if I'm in the ring, that's the most exciting thing to watch. The fans say 'Cesaro is underappreciated'…and you have a hell of a match and they do something like that," Cesaro said. "So that's just disrespectful and I put a stop to that. Not on my watch."

Cesaro and Sheamus were recently part of  WWE TLC's main event, losing to Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a 5 on 3 Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
