Despite a rough landing during his match at Clash of Champions last night, Cesaro apparently avoided any serious injury.
The WWE Raw star posted on Twitter on Monday to update his status after he appeared to land on his neck during his match with Sheamus on the latest WWE pay-per-view. The match, which was the seventh and final contest in a Best of 7 series between the two Europeans, continued until Cesaro clotheslined Sheamus over the barricade at ringside. The match then ended in a no contest after the referee and ringside doctor said that neither man could continue.
Cesaro missed significant time with a shoulder injury suffered near the end of 2015. He returned to action on Raw the night after WrestleMania 32. His rivalry with Sheamus began soon after the brand split draft earlier this summer, with the first match in the Best of 7 taking place on the pre-show at Summerslam.
Both Cesaro and Sheamus are scheduled for tonight's Raw, but no resolution has been announced regarding Cesaro and Sheamus' best-of-7 series as of yet.
