Chad Gable Apologizes To Rey Fenix For Making A Mockery Of Lucha Libre

Chad Gable apologizes to Rey Fenix.
Earlier on the show, Chad Gable appeared backstage to meet with SmackDown General Manager, Nick Adlis.
Later, we see a segment between Rey Fenix, Nathan Frazer, and Axiom. Gable interrupts and asks for a minute with Fenix.
He talks about their WrestleMania 41 match, where Gable wrestled as El Grande Americano. Gable says the main reason he came to SmackDown was to apologize to Fenix for making a mockery of the Lucha Libre culture.
“We had an awesome match last year at WrestleMania, but I did it under false pretenses. The longer I wore the mask, the more I realized this isn’t a joke. You’re taking on a responsibility to a culture, to a people, to an entire nation, and I made a mockery of that. I’m sorry. I’m asking for forgiveness.”
Fenix accepted his apology.
