Last month, Gable would participate in a gauntlet match that featured several WWE RAW’s top midcard talent, with the Minnesota native winning the match and earning a WWE Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam this weekend, where he will face off with Penta.
While speaking to ESPN’s SportsCenter in a new interview, Chad Gable would note that his Intercontinental title challenge in his hometown of Minneapolis is the biggest match of his career so far.
“This is by far the biggest match of my career. I’m so excited. We talk about having childhood dreams and things like that. This is really the epitome of that for me. I dreamt about having a championship match in front of my hometown crowd, my family, and somehow, someway, it’s come to fruition, and I just, I couldn’t be happier, man.”
