Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo Details How Natalya Helped Him Get WWE Tryout
Stacks trained at The Dungeon with Natalya and T.J. Wilson.
Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo is in the midst of his sixth year as a pro wrestler. He’s been with WWE since 2022, and while appearing on The Wrestling Classic, he shared how he got his tryout with the company.
Stacks told the story of how Natalya helped him get the tryout. Stacks added that Natalya bent the truth about his collegiate background and his size so she could boast about him to the powers that be.
“Nattie and T.J. (Wilson) have been so good to me. They’re the reason I’m in the position I’m in. They helped me through everything… Through the tryout. I still talk to them both, I’m still messaging them. She just has so much wisdom… Eventually, I ended up getting the same tryout as her (Arianna Grace) through Nattie… Crazy enough — this is funny… she took my stats and she told them I was a state — maybe I shouldn’t say this… she said I was like a state champion quarterback. I was a kicker. She hyped up my — 6’3, you know? But she helped me out and that’s what got me in the door, because she believed in me…”
Stacks is a member of WWE’s NXT brand, and through the partnership with TNA Wrestling, Stacks went on to become the TNA International Champion.
On the 12/18 episode of TNA iMPACT, Arianna Grace turned on her father, Santino Marella, and took the side of her real-life fiancé, Stacks.
