Chaos Ensues After Lei Ying Lee Retains Knockouts Championship At TNA Final Resolution
In a battle of The Angel Warriors, Lei Ying Lee came out on top. Xia Brookside earned her Knockouts Championship match at Final Resolution, but in the end it was Lee who successfully defended her title for the first time.
After the match, Lee spoke about how much this win meant to her. She heavily praised Brookside, someone who she calls her best friend. The two have teamed together plenty of times in the past, but this marked their first singles match against one another.
When Lee finished speaking, Dani Luna attacked her from behind. Even though TNA announced earlier in the night that she wasn’t medically cleared to compete, Luna made her presence felt by attacking the Knockouts Champion.
Shortly after Luna made her way to ringside, Indi Hartwell made the save. Hartwell and Luna have no love lost for one another as their animosity is still boiling over from their No DQ match at Turning Point. If it wasn’t for Hartwell on the December 4 edition of iMPACT, Luna would’ve been in this match against Lee. With Genesis right around the corner, the knockouts division is certainly heating up.
