In a new interview with WrestleZone, Evans praised Kingston and noted that he's the best wrestler she's ever seen.

“He’s the best wrestler I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I started watching Eddie when he was in CHIKARA, I hadn’t seen anything like him to be honest. He was just so rough and just the way he moved and structured matches. The way he puts things together, it’s slow and that’s the way I like to wrestle. We can drag this out for at least 20 minutes. I just loved him.”

Evans went on to tell the story of meeting Kingston for the first time, and how he ended up living with her during the first portion of 2020.

“He loves wrestling so much and it was so nice to be surrounded by somebody like that. He just lives and breathes it all the time, he was like, ‘Oh, let’s watch this match, let’s watch this match.’ The way that he thinks and the way that he puts his stuff together and his promos. I’ve known for ages that Eddie Kingston is the match. I feel like I’ve emulated my style so close to what he does, obviously with a lot of other influences as well, but he’s the inspiration. I just want this match.”

In a recent separate interview, Evans said that she wants to return to Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Learn more here.
