Charlie Dempsey Returns To WWE NXT At Gold Rush Week Two

Charlie Dempsey is back in NXT.

Charlie Dempsey had been away from WWE NXT as he went on a tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH. He resurfaced in TNA Wrestling as part of a group that consisted of Robert Stone, Stacks, Tyriek Igwe, Tyson Dupont, Brooks Jensen and Lexis King.

That group ambushed Mike Santana and ultimately cost him his TNA World Championship.

Dempsey made his return to NXT on week two of Gold Rush. There was an EVOLVE Women’s Championship bout between Lainey Reid and the champion, Kendal Grey.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley) were banned from ringside, but they showed up anyway to assist Reid. Wren Sinclair, who is aligned with Grey, got rid of Henley, but Jayne knocked her off the ring apron. Sinclair was caught by her No Quarter Catch Crew groupmate, Charlie Dempsey.

Dempsey is scheduled to be in action at TNA Final Resolution on 12/5 against Mike Santana.
