Charlotte Flair: Becky Lynch Pretends I'm Copying Her, But She's Copying My Dad

Over the past couple of months, Becky Lynch has constantly called out Charlotte Flair for biting her style and attitude. Lynch first took notice of Charlotte's new attitude while she was sidelined with a "broken face" and concussion, calling out the Queen on social media for pretending to be her. Becky even used a Simpsons meme to get her point across.

But, according to Charlotte, Becky is the one copying a member of her family.

Charlotte told Planeta Wrestling, "Becky tries to deflect the situation by pretending that I’m the one copying her. When in reality, she’s the one copying my dad’s catchphrase."

Ric Flair famously used the catchphrase "To be the Man, you gotta beat the Man." Lynch has been calling herself The Man for months now, but hasn't directly used Ric's catchphrase.

The conversation continued with Charlotte being asked about the start of WrestleMania season.

"It's the most exciting and nerve-racking time of year," said Charlotte. "Every time you step through that curtain you have to be on fire and give it 100 percent. You want to be at WrestleMania and go into it with one of the biggest matches of the year. That should be on everyone's mind."

Becky and Charlotte recently competed against each other at this past Tuesday's SmackDown in a triple threat bout which also featured Carmella. Lynch was victorious in the bout, earning herself a SmackDown Women's title shot against Asuka at the Royal Rumble.
