Charlotte Flair Isn't Bothered By Becky Lynch Chants, Enjoys Playing Back With The Crowd

Since crowds have returned on July 16, Charlotte Flair has often been greeted by chants on "We want Becky."

The chants were very present during Charlotte's match at WWE Money in the Bank against Rhea Ripley. Charlotte responded by flipping off the crowd.

Speaking to Houston Mitchell of the LA Times, Charlotte was asked if the chants for Becky Lynch bothered her.

"No, I like it because it allows me to play back with them. And realize, if they aren’t reacting at all, that’s bad. It gives me a chance to play and have a cheeky line. At Money in the Back, I may have gestured to the audience, but that was more like “Don’t be disrespectful to Rhea Ripley. This is your first night back and do not do that and you are going to enjoy the show and don’t do that to her.” And by the end of the match they were chanting “This is awesome.” Rhea and I have never had the chance to dance in front of a live audience. That was our first time to really show them how great this rivalry has become," she said.

Charlotte would again address the "We want Becky" chants on the July 19 episode of WWE Raw, saying she wasn't there because she was at home breastfeeding. Becky responded on social media, saying she was still the most over woman on the roster. You can check out Becky's response by clicking here.

Charlotte is set to challenge Nikki ASH for the Raw Women's Title in a triple threat match that also features Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam. You can view the current lineup for WWE SummerSlam by clicking here.
