Charlotte Flair: ‘One Of My Goals Is To Invest In A Female Sports Team,’ Says She Was Approached About New Women’s Volleyball League

Charlotte Flair says she wants to invest in a women’s sports team.
Wrestling wasn’t a dream for Charlotte Flair growing up, as she was into other sports. In college, Flair played volleyball for the Appalachian State Mountaineers women’s volleyball team. Eventually, she decided to step into the professional wrestling business.
During a recent appearance on Casuals with Katie Nolan, Charlotte Flair was asked about her volleyball career. The conversation shifted to women’s sports in general, and The Queen revealed that one of her goals has been to invest in a female sports team.
“One of my goals is to invest in a female sports team. Someone actually brought that opportunity up to me with one of the volleyball teams. Thinking about it. I know there’s a lot of opportunity with basketball and soccer at the moment, but with this new league for volleyball, too. So, that’s something in the future.”
In another interview, Charlotte said that WWE Unreal helped her connect with fans more. You can read her comments by clicking here.
