Charlotte Flair: Ronda Rousey Brings A Lot To The Table, But WWE Doesn't Need Her

As WrestleMania season looms, Ronda Rousey's name continues to enter the conversation.

Ronda Rousey has not been seen since losing in the main event of WrestleMania 35 to Becky Lynch. The main event of WrestleMania two years ago was historic in that it was the first time women ever headlined WWE's biggest event of the year. Charlotte Flair was also in that match.

While “The Queen” did not take the pinfall or submit to lose the match, Charlotte can forever say that she was a part of that historic moment and she can also say that she is one of a handful of people that had a one-on-one match against Ronda Rousey in the WWE ring.

Seeing as WrestleMania is once again approaching, many are wondering if Ronda Rousey will make her return, Ronda herself even had a little fun teasing her standings in Royal Rumble betting odds.

Speaking with Vincente Beltran, Charlotte Flair gave her opinion on a potential Ronda Rousey comeback saying that while Ronda does bring a lot of eyes to WWE, WWE does not need her.

“Need is a very strong word. Do I think Ronda adds to the division? One-hundred percent, but ‘need?’ No," Charlotte said. "We have an incredible list of already established stars and ones that are on the rise. So need is a strong word, but do I think she brings a lot to the table? One-hundred percent.”

While Ronda Rousey may not be “needed” in the eyes of Charlotte Flair, Stephanie McMahon has stated that the WWE family would welcome Ronda back home with open arms when she is ready. Learn more about that at this link.
