Charlotte Flair Says WrestleMania 41 Match With Tiffany Stratton Was 'Everything It Needed To Be'

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton clashed at WrestleMania 41 in a bout for the WWE Women's Championship.

Flair won the women's Royal Rumble, and chose to face Stratton at WrestleMania. In the lead up to the bout, things got personal with Stratton mentioning Flair's divorces and Flair mentioning Stratton's boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser.

Speaking to Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated, Flair reflected on the bout.

“I think the match was everything that it needed to be. It definitely got super personal, extremely heated going into WrestleMania," Flair admitted. "The personal story and how physical it was, the elaborate entrances, we both had our own unique entrance. I thought she showed up and showed out. I thought it was great.”

Stratton was victorious in the match, successfully defending her WWE Women's Championship.
