At Survivor Series War Games, a young fan named Scarlett would design Charlotte Flair’s gear that she wore for the tag team steel cage bout. Now, Charlotte has discussed how Scarlett has inspired her.

While speaking to SportsCenter in a new interview, Charlotte Flair spoke about her relationship with Scarlett, noting that the young fan will be at WrestleMania this weekend and that she and Charlotte will be matching once again.

“Well, first, she will be there this Saturday. We’ll be somewhat matching again. Actually, she’s my source of strength and inspiration. When I met her when I was out on my knee injury, and seeing what she’s going through and battling every single day and facing it with a smile on her face. It really puts life into perspective. It put life into perspective for me, and sometimes, well, for me being an athlete, I was really lost when I was injured, and the only thing that I could do was put my energy and focus into others, and I put it into her, and if that helps her have something to look forward to in her family and her big sister, Alayna, it’s the least I can do, and yeah, I mean, she really is just a beacon of light. I think that goes for all the kids. I think I want to become what I needed growing up, and that is, you know, what I set out to do.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Charlotte spoke about how she wasn’t a fan of sharing the spotlight at past WrestleManias. You can read more about that here.
