Now, as first reported by TV Guide, Flair will defend the NXT Women's Championship on Sunday, June 7, 2020, against both Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai in a Triple Threat Match at the upcoming TakeOver: In Your House event.

Charlotte captured the NXT Women's Championship from Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36. Io Shirai would win a Ladder match to become the number one contender, but during her first encounter with Charlotte, “The Queen” would go too far, getting herself disqualified leading to Rhea Ripley returning to save Io from the wrath of Charlotte Flair.

This wouldn't sit well with "The Joshi Judas,” who would challenge Rhea Ripley to a singles match which would only be interrupted by Charlotte Flair.

Speaking with TV Guide, Charlotte Flair opened up about what makes TakeOver special and what makes Triple Threat bouts so dangerous.

"Triple H did such an amazing job with Takeover," Flair said. "There's just a special feel. There is such energy around [this event]."

"[Loss of champion’s advantage is] always a concern in a triple threat but I think for me, it's, 'Hey, I can defeat everyone on Raw, I can defeat everyone on SmackDown, and I can do it on NXT, too. Rhea's the next big thing, right? Io Shirai, the next best thing? I can hold my own against both of them," Flair said.
