Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Charlotte named Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) as potential WrestleMania 40 opponents she could headline against.

In regard to Mone, who is currently signed to NJPW, Flair said, “We’ll see what WrestleMania XL brings, but you know what’s crazy? Think of how much better we are now than we were then. We’ve both grown so much, you can’t even compare it to before.”

Mone, who headlined WrestleMania 37 against Belair, is currently sidelined with an ankle injury. The last televised singles bout between Flair and Mone took place on the September 17, 2019 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Speaking about Bianca Belair, Flair stated, “Seeing Bianca handle her position as champion for so long, watching her do the interviews, the meet-and-greets, and carrying all of those responsibilities, I’m so proud of her. I know that type of pressure. She carried herself as a beautiful example of a WWE champion. And I love her competitiveness. We’re both very fiery. Whether it’s WrestleMania XL, WrestleMania 41, or WrestleMania 42, it’s going to happen.”

Charlotte competed against Belair for the WWE Women's Championship in a triple threat match that also included Asuka at WWE SummerSlam.

WrestleMania 40 is set for April 6 and April 7 in Philadelphia.
