Charlotte Flair: We've Normalized Women In The Main Event

Charlotte Flair is proud of the path her generation has paved for women's wrestling.

In the past few years, women in WWE have headlined television shows, pay-per-view events, and WrestleMania. The women's evolution put a new spotlight on women's wrestling and Charlotte has been at the forefront of the evolution.

"No one says, 'that was a great women's match.' No, it was just a great match," Charlotte said in an interview with Arroe Collins. "We are equals all around. The women right now have put so much time and effort into the style, the character, taking pieces from the past, growing with the future, and laying it all out there and having the mindset that just because it's female, it's any less. We're storytellers and that's what we do, that's why everyone is talking about it. There is no difference, man or woman. Anyone can be the main event and if we are the main event, no one is going 'oh my gosh, women are the main event.' We've normalized it."

Charlotte previously discussed how she wanted to be on the card with men and didn't need an all-female show to be highlighted. You can find her full comments by clicking here.

Charlotte is set to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Championship at WWE Money in the Bank.
