Chelsea Green Clears Up Lies About Political Views, ‘I Am Not MAGA’
On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton recreated the Sophia Cunningham pointing meme, pointing at Michin, Jade Cargill, and B-Fab.
What started as a fun meme based on Cunningham’s actions became divisive as it started to become associated with MAGA and turned into an association with racism, thanks in part to Cunningham’s assumed political views.
Since Green and Stratton took part in the meme, fans started accusing Green of being part of MAGA and supporting Donald Trump.
On social media, Chelsea Green cleared things up.
“I can handle you saying things about my looks or my talent but what you won’t do is spread lies about my political views. Since you’re so interested in spreading misinformation, here are the facts:
– I am a Canadian citizen
– I can’t vote in America
– I am not MAGA
– I am a liberal / democrat
– When I become a citizen, I will vote for a president who believes in equal human rights”
