Green also spoke about her broken nose injury.
It was at the Saturday Night's Main Event special in May that Zelina Vega successfully defended the WWE Women's United States Championship against Chelsea Green.
During the bout, Vega went for a 619 but the move did not fully connect, so Vega kicked Green in the face and accidentally broke her nose.
While on the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, Green said she suffered a clean break.
“Look, I break my nose so it changes everything… It looks pretty good, eh? I know. Honestly, I’m shocked. It was such a clean break. I barely had bruising, I barely had swelling. I could breathe properly. I was lucky."
A conversation about the Women's U.S. Title was delved into and Green said she's unsure if she has unfinished business with it.
She said with a title, one can get wrapped up in the same feuds. She stated that fans saw her and Michin going at it for 'a little too long' and on the Zelina Vega front, Green thinks fans are done with it. She does not want to push it and feels it'd be best to leave that story where it is for now. She did add that she'd like to win the belt back one day.
“I haven’t figured that out yet (if I have unfinished business with WWE Women’s U.S. Title). I haven’t decided. Are we done? I don’t ever wanna do things, like, ad nauseum and I feel like with the title, it’s very easy to stick to the same feuds. The fans saw me and Michin go at it for just I think a little too long and I think they’re done with me and Zelina (Vega) and I don’t wanna push it. I don’t want them to get bored of that championship. I want them to feel excited for what’s to come with the title. So, I feel it would be in the title’s best interest to leave it, to drop it but, me personally, I wanna win it back, obviously. I mean, hello, I want the title back. I want a second term. I wanna make America Green again."
The Secret Hervice (Chelsea Green & Alba Fyre) were ringside on the 6/6 WWE SmackDown to watch their factionmate Piper Niven face Zelina Vega in a Street Fight.
