Chelsea Green Reflects On Loss To Giulia: That Was The Hardest Japanese Strong Style Match I’ve Ever Had, She Beat My Ass

Chelsea Green got her ass beat by Giulia.
Green’s second reign with the Women’s United States Championship came to an end on the January 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, as she lost the title to Giulia.
Speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast for a new interview, Green reflected on the loss.
“Full disclosure, I’m lucky to have hair left after that match. I was limping on both legs. It was definitely like a Japanese strong style match. I’ve been to Japan, that was the hardest Japanese strong style match I’ve ever had, even after living in Japan and wrestling Kairi and IYO and Mayu and all of the STARDOM girls. It was really rough but at the end of the day, isn’t that what we want out of a champion? I have to give it to Giulia because she beat my ass.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Chelsea Green talked about Matt Cardona’s return, which took place on the same episode of SmackDown. Check out her full comments here.
