Chelsea Green: I Didn’t Think Anything Of Michael Hayes’ Comment On Unreal, I Dedicated Title Win To Him For The Fans

On WWE Unreal Season Two, Michael Hayes spoke about Chelsea Green, saying that her role was to make people like Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton.
Hayes and Green have both spoken about the topic since the season premiered, and when Green won the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam, she dedicated her title victory to Hayes.
Speaking to Nikki Bella on the Nikki & Brie Show, Green gave further comments to Hayes.
“Poor Michael Hayes. He’s never going to live this down. Until the end of time. It’s going to be me in the history book with a little picture of him beside it. My number one opp: Michael Hayes.
“I’m not an emotional person at all. I also don’t hold grudges. In fact, I forget a lot of times; my girlfriends have to remind me, ‘You don’t like that person.’ I was so emotional that entire day. I had seen Michael Hayes and he had given me words of encouragement. On Unreal, I watched it and didn’t think anything of it. When I started getting flooded with texts, I changed my mind. ‘Oh yeah, that was kind of mean and rude.’ They’re putting you in this box when you’ve constantly fought to get out. When I went on the post-show, I was like, ‘I have to do this.’ Even though I don’t feel any type of way about it, I have to dedicate this win to him because I’m a petty queen. The fans need to that. That’s what they wanted to hear, whether I cared about it or not. They needed the moment of me saying it. Michael Hayes is such a good sport.”
