Chelsea Green Introduced As New WWE Women’s Champion On 8/7 WWE SmackDown

Chelsea Green was introduced as the new WWE Women’s Champion on WWE SmackDown.

During the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Chelsea Green and four other female wrestlers took part in a ladder match to determine the Interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Green appeared on the August 7 edition of WWE SmackDown to celebrate her victory. She was introduced as the new Women’s Champion by Joe Tessitore. Her shirt also read “Permanent Champion.”

As of right now, Rhea Ripley is still the WWE Women’s Champion. Ripley recently underwent knee surgery.
