Chelsea Green Says The Idea For John Cena’s ‘Junk Or Jackpot’ Show Was Born On A Double Date Night

Chelsea Green loves having dinner with John Cena and his wife.

In the past, Green and Matt Cardona have been open about their double dinner dates with Cena and his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh. In a new interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, Green assured fans that there is little to no wrestling talk at the dinner table.

“John and my co-workers, we’re just normal people that work together. When we leave work, we don’t want to talk about work. We talk about everything else. We talk about family life, we talk about our plans for the future, we talk about holidays and all sorts of things. Obviously, it’s a little different with John Cena because he’s quite possibly the busiest person in the world so projects come up a lot and stuff like that.”

Green went on to reveal that Cena came up for the idea for the ‘Junk Or Jackpot’ show on a double date.

“He has a new show coming out called ‘Junk or Jackpot’ and that was an idea that was born on a date night. I said that Matt’s stuff is junk and Matt said that his stuff is not, he’s not a hoarder, it’s not junk, it’s like collectibles. That was a wine night idea.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Green revealed that she filmed content for the WWE ARRIVAL show back in 2018/2019. Fans can check out her full comments here.
