Chelsea Green Clarifies That She’s Not Replacing Piper Niven In The Green Regime, ‘Piper Is So Valuable To Us’

Chelsea Green is sticking with Piper Niven.
Niven last appeared for WWE in August, as she’s currently dealing with a neck injury. Fightful Select spoke to sources that believe Niven will make an eventual return, but for now, Chelsea Green has been putting out calls to find someone to temporarily take her spot.
Speaking with Woman’s World for a new interview, Chelsea Green was very straightforward about the situation, saying that she is not replacing Niven, who is very valuable to the group.
“Now it’s my turn to make sure that Piper is okay—more so mentally. There’s not much I can do physically, but I want to make sure that as she takes that step back, she realizes this is the time to rest, recover, brainstorm new ideas, start a new hobby, and not get in her head. Because, trust me, we get in our heads. Piper is so valuable to us. We’re not just replacing her, but the show goes on. This is Hollywood, baby! And I love to start a storyline on social media and plant the seed, because then the writers can gauge reactions and maybe bring it into their creative meetings.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Green said that John Cena has her back when it comes to her aspirations in Hollywood. Check out her full comments here.
