Chelsea Green made her presence felt at IMPACT Slammiversary.
On July 8, 2021, Matt Cardona returned to IMPACT Wrestling after being out of action with an orbital bone injury he suffered at the hands of Brian Myers. During the most recent episode of IMPACT, Myers enlisted the help of Tenille Dashwood, Cardona's ex-girlfriend, to gain the upper hand during his in-ring segment with Jake Something and Cardona.
Backstage, Scott D'Amore approached Cardona and asked if he could find a partner for Slammiversary to take on Myers and Dashwood. After Cardona said that he knew someone, D'Amore walked away and said that Slammiversary is going to be a hot mess.
At the event, Chelsea fought next to Cardona in a winning effort over Myers and Dashwood. After taking out Myers with a Canadian Destroyer, Green hit Tenille with an Unprettier for the pin and win.

Chelsea Green, Cardona's fiancee, was released by WWE on April 15 and recently made a surprise appearance at ROH Best in the World. She is also a former IMPACT talent, competing as The Hot Mess Laurel Van Ness. Green, who spent two years with the promotion (2016-2018), is a former Knockouts Champion.
