Chelsea Green Wants To Work In AAA, Says She's Open To Returning To Japan In 2022

Chelsea Green wants to build the most impressive resume she can in 6 months and then revisit some of the places she has already been in 2022.

Ever since her WWE release, Chelsea Green has committed herself to working with as many different promotions as she can, embodying a determination to make the most of her time as a free agent before signing an exclusivity agreement with any promotion or revisiting some of the places she has already been in the past.

Whether it is the NWA, Ring of Honor, or IMPACT, Chelsea is trying to reclaim her legacy and reignite the spark fans feel when they hear her name announced for a show.

Speaking on the 411 Wrestling podcast, Chelsea outlined her plans for the future while specifically stating that she would be open to a return to Japan, stating that she liked her time and STARDOM, but is eyeing 2022 for a run in a promotion or country that she's already been to. In the immediate future, she said she is hopeful that she will continue working for the promotions that she has been and perhaps will even have a run in AAA in Mexico.

"Right now I want to keep things open. Now, that's not to say that come 2022 I won't change my mind. But right now I feel like I kind of lost the buzz around my name. And I lost a little bit of confidence. I want to get that back. So I'm going to spend the next six months floating around and doing the best I can in IMPACT, ROH, and NWA. If they ask me to come there, I'll go there. If AAA asked me to go to Mexico, I’m going to Mexico. I want to do it all. I want my resume to be more stacked than any other female in the entire world. That's what I'm working towards. Then you know, maybe if you [ask her about signing exclusively] in January, I'll have a different answer for you.”

She added, “I loved my time in Japan when I was there working for stardom. So I definitely will go back there at some point, of course, because I've checked it off the bucket list. I'm trying to do things that I haven't done before I go back and do things again. So Japan will probably come sometime in 2022.”

Chelsea has also stated that she recently agreed to host a new reality show all about local Floridian life. Learn more here.
