Chikayo Nagashima Provides Update After Suffering Concussion During Match

An update from Chikayo Nagashima.

On July 26th, Chikayo Nagashima was in action at Marvelous’ event in Chiba. During her match, she attempted to perform a move that required her to dive backwards, but she hit her head.

She was stretchered off and taken to a hospital.

Taking to her blog, Nagashima provided an update and shared that she lost consciousness after suffering the blow to her head. She noted that she did not fully become aware of her surroundings again until she was at the hospital.

She underwent a CT scan, and no abnormalities were found in the brain or neck, although she was diagnosed with a concussion.

She posted a photo of herself on X with a bandage on her forehead.

Nagashima is 50 years of age and has been wrestling since 1995.
