Matt Riddle and Jeff Cobb are the new PWG tag team champions.
At tonight's All Star Wrestling 13 show in Reseda, California, the Chosen Bros. defeated Fenix and Penta El Zero M to win the titles after an assisted GTS on Fenix. This is their first run with the titles.
Fenix and Penta El Zero M held the tag team titles for 215 days, winning them at Nice Boys (Don't Play Rock 'n Roll) after defeating The Young Bucks and Matt Sydal and Ricochet in a triple threat match. The Young Bucks had held the titles 631 days prior to that match.
The Chosen Bros. have been wrestling as a team since March of this year, when they defeated OI4K at the same show where Fenix and Penta El Zero M won the titles.
They may continue that momentum later this year, as it seems like they will be a part of New Japan's World Tag League next month.
All Star Weekend 13 will continue tomorrow with night 2. Matches on that show will include Rey Horus vs. Matt Sydal, Adam Brooks vs. Jonah Rock, Travis Banks vs. Trent, Joey Janela vs. Marty Scurll, Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Haskins vs. The Young Bucks and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. WALTER. The main event will have PWG World Champion Chuck Taylor defend the championship against the Battle of Los Angeles winner Ricochet.
