Chris Dickinson Appears At NJPW STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed

Chris Dickinson has returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

On August 21, Dickinson appeared at the NJPW Strong Fighting Spirit Unleashed tapings, which were held in Los Angeles, California. After Fred Rosser defended the STRONG Openweight Championship against TJP, he attacked the champion and laid him out.

Dickinson announced that he signed a contract with NJPW earlier this year, but he hasn’t wrestled for the company since the Collision in Philadelphia tapings on May 15. Otherwise, he hasn't wrestled since June.

In April, Christina Von Eerie, who was previously in a relationship with Dickinson, accused him of both physical and emotional abuse. McKaila Coulter didn't specifically name Dickinson, but she also alleged domestic abuse. Dickinson subsequently pulled out of GCW In Too Deep, stating that he didn't want to serve as a distraction to his peers,

In August, Dickinson filed a defamation lawsuit against the duo, denying the allegations and claiming that they have substantially affected his wrestling career. He noted that NJPW was no longer actively booking him and GCW terminated its relationship with him.

Von Eerie and Coulter subsequently shared a statement in response to the lawsuit, and they said that "everything we have spoken out against is true." The duo made it clear that they "will continue to stand our ground in the court of law".
