Chris Jericho Abandons ‘The Jericho Vortex’ Trademark

Chris Jericho has abandoned an attempt to trademark a term related to his run in AEW.

In recent weeks, there has been speculation and reports surrounding the status of Chris Jericho in All Elite Wrestling and if he could potentially return to WWE upon his AEW contract expiring.

In late October 2025, the trademark was ruled as dead and abandoned. You can check out the notice about the trademark below.

“The application above is abandoned because we did not receive within six months of the Notice of Allowance (NOA) issue date: (1) A Statement of Use (SOU); or (2) A Request for Extension of Time to File a Statement of Use (Extension Request).”

The filing was ruled this way due to “FAILURE TO FILE TIMELY SOU OR EXTENSION REQUEST.”.

Jericho originally filed for the trademark in April of 2024.
