Chris Jericho Attacks Tetsuya Naito At NJPW Wrestling Dontaku

Chris Jericho has returned to finish what he started at New Japan Pro Wrestling. 

On the second night of the New Japan Pro Wrestling event Wrestling Dontaku, Chris Jericho returned to the wrestling promotion for the first time since January. At Wrestling Dontaku, Jericho attacked the same man who he attacked at New Year Dash who was Tetsuya Naito.

The following is an excerpt of the Fightful Wrestling live coverage provided by David Tees. 

After the match, a masked person jumps the barricade and he attacks Tetsuya Naito as the rest of Los Ingobernables went backstage, the masked person throws Naito into the barricade and back into the ring. The masked person assaults Naito with a bunch of strikes in the ring, the mask is removed and it is revealed to be Chris Jericho. Jericho then hits Naito with a Code Breaker. Jericho continues attacking Naito with a plethora of strikes until NJPW officials finally break it up. Jericho grabs the ring bell and he crushes Naito with it.

Earlier this year, Jericho wrestled at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 against Kenny Omega and had recently said he was done with the promotion. He has also appeared on WWE television since his last match in NJPW.
