Chris Jericho has called himself "The Best in the World" and "The GOAT," but on this day in 2020, he truly believes he's the best in the world once again.
Jericho took to social media to give himself props, feeling he's the best in the wrestling business right now, and seemingly noting that he hasn't truly felt this way since 2010.
Not being egotistical or arrogant, but right here and right now, for the first time since 2010, I honestly feel that I AM the best in the world in the pro wrestling biz. Not gonna discuss or debate. It’s just the way I feel...— Chris Jericho (@IAmJericho) May 10, 2020
Jericho was WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2010, successfully the title against Edge at WrestleMania 26. He departed WWE in September 2010 to focus on his music career before returning in January 2012, feuding with CM Punk shortly after his return.
Jericho has been praised for his performances and re-invention in AEW, where he was the first-ever AEW World Champion and, more recently, showing he could have a career on commentary once he retires from in-ring competition.
