Anything is fair when it comes to Jericho and Naito 2. It's going to be the last night of your career at Wrestle Kingdom 13," said Jericho in a video uploaded to NJPW's YouTube account. All of your fans will be crying as soon as our match is finished. You will be finished. Your career will be done. You are a great wrestler, one of the best in the world. But Chris Jericho is the best in the world. The greatest of all-time. I'm not going to lose to you. Everyone is talking behind your back. They are scared for you. Terrified at what is going to happen to you at Wrestle Kingdom 13. I'm sorry for what is going to happen to you. I hope you get a standing ovation at Wrestle Kingdom 13. I'll be the first one to stand up applaud you after I leave you laying in a broken heap, a sad, and finished man."

Jericho has constantly gotten the better of Naito in 2018, beginning with his attack on the Los Ingobernables de Japon leader at New Year Dash!! Jericho went on to defeat Naito and win the IWGP Intercontinental Title at Dominion in June. At the Road to Tokyo Dome show in December, Jericho once again left Naito lying.

The two men will settle the things on Jan. 4 at Wrestle Kingdom 13.
