Chris Jericho Returns On AEW Dynamite, ‘I’m Home’

Chris Jericho has returned to AEW.

After nearly a year of being off AEW TV, Chris Jericho made his return on the April 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jericho opened the show, interrupting Tony Schiavone as he tried to set up the contract signing between MJF and Kenny Omega for their AEW World Title match at AEW Dynasty.

Jericho soaked in the crowd reaction, who cheered and chanted “welcome back,” before grabbing the mic.

Jericho simply said, “Winnipeg! AEW! I’m home” before setting the mic down.

This was Jericho’s first AEW appearance since the April 9, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite when he expressed his disappointment in Big Bill & Bryan Keith of the Learning Tree and walked out on them.

On Monday afternoon, Fightful Select reported that Jericho returning had been internally discussed by AEW.
