Chris Jericho Surprises Fans By Saying He Is Done With New Japan

Chris Jericho says it is unfortunate but he is done with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

A German Tweeter under the name Fabian Hagen asked Chris Jericho about his relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Jericho responded with a surprising answer saying he was "done" with the Japanese wrestling promotion.

After his match against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12, Jericho said he was looking for a part time deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. His band Fozzy has been touring the United States and he has a cruise planned for this October which will feature Ring of Honor talent and Omega.

Jericho being done with NJPW would be unexpected by fans because Jericho was thought to be performing on NJPW's Strong Style Evolved event in a match against Naito since Jericho attacked him at NJPW New Year Dash. The Strong Style Evolved event has been set for March 25th and Fozzy has not scheduled a concert for that Sunday night.

Fightful Wrestling will report any changes to NJPW Strong Style Evolved and Chris Jericho's status.
