Chris Jericho: Vince McMahon Didn’t Like Bryan Danielson Because He Was A Vegan

Vince McMahon wasn’t a fan of Bryan Danielson (at least initially) because he didn’t eat steak.

Bryan Danielson had one of the most organic rises in pro wrestling. Today, he’s a 4-time WWE Champion as well as a two-time WrestleMania headliner.

On a recent edition of the Talk is Jericho podcast, the subject of Raw after WrestleMania was being discussed. During the conversation, Bryan Danielson was brought up as well. Jericho said that Vince McMahon didn’t like him because he was vegan.

“He didn’t like Bryan [Danielson] because Bryan was a vegan. Classic Vince. There’s other reasons, but I remember that was one of it. (imitates Vince) ‘Doesn’t eat steak, ugh.’”
