Chris Jericho vs. Wheeler Yuta, Dumpster Match, Orange Cassidy And More Added To 8/3 AEW Dynamite

Wheeler Yuta will have a major opportunity on the August 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.

On the July 29 episode of AEW Rampage, ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli came to the ring to address the fans after his title win. He called Yuta, the ROH Pure Champion so they could celebrate, but Chris Jericho interrupted the duo. He stated that a sports-entertainer will always beat a wrestler. Yuta responded by expressing his confidence that he could defeat Jericho. "The Wizard" then challenged the champion to a match. Yuta initially refused, but he agreed to the bout when Jericho agreed to put his shot at the Interim AEW World Championship on the line.

Jericho is currently set to challenge Jon Moxley for the title on the 'Quake by the Lake' special episode of AEW Dynamite on the August 10. If Yuta wins, he'll take Jericho's place in the match.

Elsewhere on the show, The Acclaimed will battle the Gunn Club in a Dumpster Match. The two teams have been feuding ever since Billy Gunn turned on Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. In a rap on Rampage, Bowens and Caster named the Dumpster Match as the stipulation for their match.

Plus, Orange Cassidy will face Jay Lethal, and Powerhouse Hobbs will be in action one week after he betrayed Ricky Starks.

The updated card for AEW Dynamite is as follows:
