Chris Sabin looks back on one year since signing with WWE.
Last year, fans wondered for quite some time where The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) would land after their contracts with TNA expired. Eventually, the pair would sign with WWE, making their SmackDown debuts on the October 18th edition of the blue brand.
On July 23rd, Chris Sabin reflected on one year to the day since he and Shelley signed with WWE. Sabin noted the 24 years of hard work that went into him reaching a point where he could sign the deal with the promotion and achieve a dream.
“1 year ago today I signed my first WWE contract. 24 years of hard work, dedication, injuries, comebacks, highs and lows and everything was absolutely worth it to achieve what was both my dream and goal. Never give up.”

Since making their WWE debuts last year, Sabin and Shelley have been staples of the tag team division on Friday nights, mixing it up with The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and the rest of the division.
Back in May, Sabin reacted to the addition of The Motor City Machine Guns as DLC on WWE 2K25. You can read more about that here.
