"Captain Charisma" competes for the first time in seven years at the 2021 Royal Rumble.
For the first time since 2014, Christian has competed inside a WWE ring when he entered at number 24 during the 2021 Royal Rumble match.
Lasting until the final four, Christian managed to help his best friend, Edge eliminate Braun Strowman and competed against new names such as Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins.
In addition to competing in his first match since 2014, Christian competed in his first Royal Rumble in over 15 years as he last competed in the 30-man battle royal in 2005. In late 2005, Christian left WWE to go to TNA Wrestling before coming back in 2009 for a final run.
Christian's best friend, Edge eventually went on to win his second Royal Rumble going the distance from number one until the end.
