Christian Doesn't Think About WWE Hall Of Fame Spot, Appreciates Those Pushing For Him

The WWE Hall of Fame is littered with some of the best talent to ever step foot inside a ring. Whether they headlined multiple WrestleMania events or were viewed as midcard talent, everyone from Steve Austin to Koko B. Ware are part of the Hall of Fame.

But one name is noticeably absent and has garnered a groundswell of support by fans to be inducted.

Christian is a former World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and Tag Team Champion in WWE. But despite his Grand Slam status and being one of the most popular wrestlers during his time, he is not in the Hall of Fame. And that doesn't bother him.

"It’s not something that I think about on a daily basis," Christian told Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling. "Obviously, like you said, if I had a dime for every time somebody came up to me and said I should be in the Hall Of Fame it would be great. But yeah, I don’t think about it. It is what it is and I feel like the things that I’ve done, I’m content with what I’ve accomplished and it’s like, everybody gets offended and I appreciate — I really do appreciate the people who wanna see me in there but it’s not like this is gonna be the last year, or next year’s gonna be the last year or the year after that is gonna be the last year. So honestly I don’t think about it at all. It doesn’t bother me. But I do appreciate the people who wanna see me in there.”

Christian has a sense of humor about his lack of Hall of Fame status, turning it into a sketch on the Edge & Christian Show.

He is set to star in the new film The Cagefighter: Worlds Collide, which releases on May 16th on FITE TV.
